Welcome to my blog! First, I want to introduce myself. I grew up spending time on my grandmother’s farm, where I would tend to honeybees with my grandfather, pick flowers, and collect eggs from the chickens. In school, I loved raising chicks and watching our butterflies cocoon and fly away. Over time, my love for animals and nature has grown. Now, I focus on making change to protect the creatures and places I grew to love as I grew. I started this blog as a way to inform readers about environmental issues, solutions, and opportunities. Not only did I want to write for others, I began The Conservation Garden as an outlet to learn. By researching, writing, and becoming involved in the environmentalist community, I can learn more. My goal is to encourage people to come together to learn and make changes to protect our ecosystems.
